Leasing your office equipment

If you are starting up your own business, the last thing you want to be spending your money on is office equipment such as franking machines, photocopiers and binding machines.

You may not know that you are now able to lease such items for your office without having to commit yourself to buying the particular piece of office furniture. Leasing furniture can be far more cost effective for your company and can also help with cash flow, as you are able to pay for your office equipment on a monthly basis.

Whatever you are looking to lease, you can choose how long you are going to lease the office equipment for. The minimum is typically one year but you can negotiate this depending on how long you think you will be requiring the equipment for.

As part of your lease agreement the office equipment will be regularly serviced by the company that you have lease your equipment from and should the machines break down, it is their responsibility to ensure that they are in fully working order. You will be impressed with the service that you receive from the hire company and also pleased that you managed to save yourself some money.
